HAVE A VERY SPICY THANKSGIVING

Everything is a little bit more spicy in New Mexico and Thanksgiving dinner is no exception! While we still enjoy turkey and all the fixings at our holiday dinner tables, we can’t help adding a touch of something hot and spicy to our Turkey Days. After all, New Mexico is the proud home of the delicious hatch chile. When you have flavorful, delicious chiles so readily available, you want to add them to every meal.

If you’re looking for a way to liven up your ordinary Thanksgiving, why not draw some inspiration from a New Mexican dinner? Here are a few ways that you can enjoy New Mexican chiles and an array of other all-natural New Mexican produce staples with Gilly Loco salsas and sauces this holiday season:

  1.  Spoon some Gilly Loco red or green chile sauce over your mashed potatoes as a low calorie, spicy alternative to gravy.
  2. Mix a spoonful or two of Gilly Loco red or green chile sauce into canned or frozen corn and serve it as a side.
  3. When you serve turkey sandwiches for a snack later in the day, put out some Gilly Loco salsa as a spicy condiment.
  4. Combine mild Gilly Loco salsa with canned cranberry sauce for a surprisingly delicious side. This does require a little bit of trust, but trust me, it is worth it!
  5. Serve Chips Cooked in Coconut oil and your favorite Gilly Loco salsa for guests to munch on before the meal!
