The only official salsa licensed to the UNM Lobos is released. Local salsa makers, Gilly Loco, is excited to introduce its latest and possibly greatest salsa, “Lobo Salsa”. This new salsa is uniquely based around local red chile.
After months of secret meetings between UNM officials and our dedicated chef, the inspiring recipe has been perfected. This deliciously spicy mixture brings together the local flavors of red chile, sweet crushed tomatos, jalapenos and arbol chiles.
Gilly Loco is based in Albuquerque and proud to bring the taste of New Mexico to your table. The company makes five different salsas including: Traditional, Tomatillo, Chipotle, and Ghost Pepper Salsa. They also make a Chili Rojo, Chili Verde, and a Red Chili BBQ Sauce.
At Gilly Loco, we take pride in what we do, and we mean it when we say that we’re “LOCO FOR LOCAL”. We believe that the very best chiles come from our own backyard – the Land Of Enchantment. We use only the finest locally grown chiles harvested in Hatch, New Mexico and the freshest ingredients in every single jar of salsa we produce.
All of the products are GMO free 100% natural and will be found at area Smiths, Albertson’s, Whole Foods, Sprouts stores and many more across New Mexico.
